George Rogerson,
C.E.O.
Mr.
Rogerson oversees all aspects of the companies business from technical
operations, production management, strategic alliances and business
development to talent acquisition and venture finance.
Mr.
Rogerson's business accomplishments include the co-founding of Traffic
Station, Inc., where he served as the original CEO and President
and was instrumental in developing and implementing the company's
creative vision. Traffic Station grew to become the largest provider
of digital real-time traffic information in the USA serving over
30 cities.
Additionally,
Mr. Rogerson founded D:ablo Production Studio L.L.C. a leading digital
media production firm in Los Angeles that has produced interactive
content for clients including: Disney, Sony, Paramount, Microsoft,
Mattel, Macromedia, and Intel.
George
Rogerson holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from
CAL-State University Northridge.
Barry Weingart, CTO
Barry Weingart brings unparalleled expertise and over 30 years of
experience
in software development and technical support for sophisticated,
high-volume
communications challenges.
Barry is the former founder of Pro-Data Corporation, based in Cleveland
and
New York, which became the largest provider of billing and service
management for the cable television industry, including such local
companies
as Manhattan Cable TV.
In 1980 Barry moved to Los Angeles, where he founded Alpha Base
Systems,
Inc. At ABS he created the Metropolis Database Application Development
Environment for sales, service and inventory automation systems.
His
Metropolis software tools have been responsible for the creation
of cutting
edge applications for mail order processing, distribution, manufacturing,
YMCA
automation and a host of other strategic business needs, including
cable-mapping systems across the United States. Alpha Base tools
also
provide complete support for telephone automation of all aspects
of order
processing and customer service. The Metropolis user list is composed
of
11,000 companies worldwide, including Fortune 500 entities such
as IBM,
General Motors, CBS and Land's End.
After forming Alpha Base Interactive in February 1995, Barry led
a team of
developers in creating the Metropolis Web Hypertext Applications
Processor and the EZ-ID user recognition and secure commerce
technologies. Together with his Metropolis Telephone Applications
Processor,
these comprise a powerful, sophisticated and totally integrated
set of
technologies for developing and managing Web-based multimedia services
with complete financial controls.
Michael
Fletcher, CIO, Director of Information Systems & Application Development
Michael
Fletcher, who was once the Information Systems Manager for several
divisions of AlliedSignal, Inc. (now Honeywell, Inc.), has a very
hands-on approach to leadership and a business-minded approach to
software development.
Here
at Uvox Networks, Inc., we are pleased to have Michael contributing
his expertise in dynamic, real-time internet content, and his exceptional
ability to adapt new technologies into existing applications. Michael
is leading our application engineering from initial concepts through
the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
Hired
by Banner Aerospace in 1992 to revitalize a fledgling aftermarket
aerospace supplier with a team of other professionals, Michael redesigned
and redeveloped all the application and business legacy systems
to prepare the company for the 700% growth it saw over the next
five years.
Michael
then lead the Information Systems department to ISO 9002 certification
in 1997, and later that same year prepared the systems and IT personnel
for seamless integration during the merger with AlliedSignal.
Two
years later in 1999, Michael oversaw the completion of all Y2K Readiness
for both application software and information systems infrastructure
at multiple AlliedSignal locations. In 1999, Michael left the aerospace
industry to take on the challenge of working in the dot com world.
He worked on prototype and initial design applications for TrafficStation,
Inc. and IO: Intermedia Organizer (www.go-io.com).
Michael
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the
American College of Computer & Information Sciences.
